Branding

A few things to consider when creating your logo.

The most effective logos are usually simple. Think of the logos for Nike, Apple, Target and Microsoft — powerful and simple. Also, keep in mind that your logo will appear on a variety of backgrounds, so plan for alternate versions — one for a light background, one for a dark background, another for social media (square or circle format). Finally, you’ll need your logo saved in the right formats. For example, files for print use the CMYK color model, while files for the web use the RGB model.
